Suspension of IAS Officer Sewali Devi Sharma Extended

The Government of Assam extended the suspension of IAS officer Sewali Devi Sharma for 180 days or until further notice. Sharma, arrested in May 2023 for misappropriating Rs 105 crore as the director of SCERT, remains in judicial custody.
