Swift Police Response: Three Detained After Robbery in Cachar District Residence

Following a distressing robbery incident at a residence in the Joypur area of Cachar district, the Cachar Police have taken swift action by detaining three individuals and intensifying the investigation. Robbers dressed in military attire reportedly broke into a businessman’s home around 1 a.m., stealing cash amounting to Rs 2 lakh and jewelry worth approximately Rs 10 lakh. Upon receiving the report, police promptly arrived at the scene to assess the situation. Cachar SP Numal Mahatta confirmed the detention of three individuals for interrogation and assured that all possible angles are being thoroughly investigated.
