Tata Motors Launches Vehicle Scrapping Facility in Guwahati

Tata Motors has inaugurated the Northeast’s first registered vehicle scrapping facility (RVSF) in Guwahati, in partnership with Axom Platinum Scrappers. The facility can dismantle 15,000 end-of-life vehicles annually, covering both passenger and commercial vehicles of all brands.
With this launch, Tata Motors now operates seven RVSFs across India. Executive Director Girish Wagh emphasized the company’s commitment to sustainability and responsible vehicle disposal. Assam ministers Jogen Mohan and Ashok Singhal attended the event, calling it a step toward a cleaner Assam.
