Tea Garden Workers Protest in Bokakhat Over Low Wages

Tea garden workers in Kakchang, Bokakhat staged a protest demanding a wage hike, citing the unchanged daily wage of Rs 200 paid by small tea garden owners.

Workers said the low pay makes it difficult to meet basic expenses and alleged that repeated demands for better wages and benefits have been ignored.
