Teacher Sent as Polling Officer Missing Since April 15

Sanjay Sharma (55), a teacher from West Karbi Anglong district sent as a polling officer in the Lok Sabha poll, has been missing since April 15, 2024, when he went to Shillong for marketing. Last seen at Ri-Bhoi bus stand in Meghalaya, his family believes he might be in Guwahati or elsewhere in Assam. An FIR has been lodged with the SP of East Khasi Hill district, Meghalaya.
