Temporary Closure of Jeep Safari and Elephant Rides in Kaziranga National Park during PM Modi’s Visit

In response to the scheduled visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Kaziranga National Park (KNP) authorities have announced the temporary closure of jeep safari and elephant rides in the Kaziranga range on March 7, 8, and 9. Specifically, the jeep safari services will be suspended on all three days, while elephant rides will not be available on March 8 and 9.

This precautionary measure aims to ensure the smooth conduct of the Prime Minister’s visit to the national park. Visitors planning to experience the jeep safari or elephant rides during this period are advised to explore alternative ranges within the Kaziranga National Park, where both facilities will continue to operate as usual.
