Tension in Kangpokpi as Shutdown Continues Amid Clashes

Manipur’s Kangpokpi district remains tense but calm after clashes between Kuki protesters and security forces left one dead and over 40 injured. Protests erupted against Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s directive allowing free movement across the state. Security has been increased, and patrolling continues.
