Tensions between ULFA (I) and Police reach a peak as shootouts and allegations increase

Tensions have risen in response to the recent shootouts that occurred in two different operations in Assam. There have been numerous cases of young people joining the United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent), an outfit that is banned and the Assam Police are conducting a thorough investigation to find ULFA (I) linkmen.
