Tezpur Medical College Staff Protest Against Deputy Superintendent

Employees of Tezpur Medical College on Monday staged a protest accusing Deputy Superintendent Dr Arijit Dutta of mental harassment and physical misconduct, and demanded his immediate removal. Third- and fourth-grade staff alleged repeated intimidation and verbal abuse, affecting both male and female employees. The protesters said a police complaint has been filed and warned of an indefinite agitation if action is not taken within 24 hours, while assuring that emergency services would continue. Authorities have not yet responded to the allegations.
