Three Bodies Found Near Assam-Manipur Border; Link to Abduction by Kuki militants

The bodies of three women were discovered near the Assam-Manipur border, raising concerns they may be linked to six individuals abducted by Kuki militants from Manipur’s Jiribam district. The abductees, including three women and three minors, remain missing, with families anxiously awaiting news. The bodies were sent for post-mortem at Silchar Medical College. While there is speculation they may be the missing women, identification remains unconfirmed, and DNA tests could be conducted. The discovery follows a recent militant attack on a police station in Jiribam, where six locals were abducted.
