Three Minor Girls Missing in Jamugurihat, Families Suspect Trafficking

Sensation and concern spread in Jamugurihat after three minor girls—Ashma Khatun (14), Maina Khatun (14), and Sarufa Khatun (15)—went missing since June 5. The girls, residents of Bharali Chapori, left their homes in the evening and did not return. A costume belonging to one of the girls was found near a pond, deepening the mystery. Despite efforts by the families, the girls remain untraceable. The families have lodged an FIR at Jamuguri Police Station, suspecting the girls may have fallen victim to human traffickers.
