Three NSCN Militants Killed in Dima Hasao Encounter

Three NSCN militants were killed in an encounter with Assam Rifles and Assam Police in Dima Hasao on Tuesday. The operation, based on intel about extortion threats to NHAI projects, led to the recovery of AK rifles and pistols. The militants opened fire after a 60-hour search near Hera Kilo. They are suspected to be part of a new NSCN battalion announced for the region earlier this year.
