Three Soldiers Injured in Suspected ULFA(I) Attack on Army Camp in Tinsukia

Three Army personnel were injured when suspected ULFA(I) militants attacked an Army camp in Kakopathar, Tinsukia, around 12:30 AM on October 16. Militants hurled grenades and opened fire before fleeing after a 30-minute exchange. Security forces have launched extensive search operations with drone surveillance. The injured soldiers are stable. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma condemned the attack and vowed strict action.
