Tight Security in Guwahati for PM’s Visit and Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit

With the Prime Minister, union ministers, foreign ambassadors, and industrialists visiting Guwahati for the Jhumoir dance event and Advantage Assam 2.0 business summit, police have intensified security measures. Additional personnel from other districts are working round the clock to ensure safety.
While no uniformed police will be inside the summit venue, security outside will be strict. Traffic disruptions are expected to be minimal. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced cash awards of ₹25,000 for Jhumoir performers and ₹30,000 for expert team members.
