Tragedy Strikes on HSLC Exam Day as Assam Student Succumbs to Unidentified Health Ailments

A heart-wrenching incident occurred on the first day of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exam in Assam’s Darrang district, where a student lost her life due to unidentified health ailments. The student fainted during the exam on February 16, 2024, and was promptly rushed to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). Despite three days of treatment, the young girl, a resident of Sipajhar and a student at Sipajhar B.J. Girls’ High School, tragically passed away on Sunday night. The exact cause of her death remains unknown, casting a pall of gloom over the Sipajhar community.
