Tragic Accident Claims Life of PWD Employee in Guwahati

Nikhil Deka, a 35-year-old surveyor working for the Public Works Department (PWD), tragically lost his life after being hit by a dumper at Kahilipara in Guwahati. The incident involved a dumper with registration number AS 09 C 9666, resulting in damage to a motorcycle as well. Locals apprehended the driver, who was later taken into police custody. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter, while the victim’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
