Tragic Accident in Jorhat Claims Lives, Injures One

A serious accident has occurred on the treacherous Nisha Bhoyankar Path in Jorhat. A speeding bike lost control and veered off the road, crashing into a drainage ditch. Two individuals, identified as Vishwajeet Baniya and Siddharth Hazarika, tragically lost their lives in the accident that took place beneath the overpass near the Bharalghar area on Sunday.

According to reports, the three youths – Vishwajeet Baniya, Siddharth Hazarika, and Pinku Baniya – were riding on the bike when the driver lost control suddenly. The impact resulted in the fatalities of Vishwajeet Baniya and Siddharth Hazarika, while Pinku Baniya sustained significant injuries. Following the incident, Pinku Baniya and the injured were rushed to Jorhat Medical College Hospital for treatment.

This tragic event has left the entire Bharalghar region in mourning. The incident underscores the dangers of reckless driving on precarious roads, prompting a somber atmosphere throughout the community.
