A tragedy struck in Assam’s Goalpara district on Thursday when a boat carrying people capsized, resulting in four deaths and one individual still missing. The incident occurred in Simlitola, under the Rangjuli police station, as the passengers were returning from a crematorium. Locals managed to rescue three youths initially, while the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team rescued another youth today. However, one youth remains unaccounted for.
