Tragic Suicide at IIT Guwahati Campus

In a tragic incident, a student was discovered dead inside his hostel room at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati in Assam. The student’s death, suspected to be a suicide, occurred on April 10, 2024. Expressing deep regret, IIT Guwahati conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and assured them of necessary support. The institute also confirmed police involvement in investigating the matter.
