In a tragic incident at Ramkrishnanagar’s Shonbil area, a teenage boy lost his life while traveling by boat near his maternal uncle’s residence in Karimganj. Reports indicate that the victim was boarding a small boat when it capsized amidst heavy storms. The accident occurred during a visit to Gamaria village, where the boy, accompanied by his parents, was caught in a heavy storm. Despite prompt search efforts by family and locals, the boy was found lifeless in the waters of the wetland. Authorities, including the police, swiftly responded, recovering the body for postmortem examination at Karimganj Civil Hospital.
