Traffic Advisory Issued for NH 27 Repair Works in Dima Hasao

As repair works continue along the Jatinga-Harangajao stretch of NH 27 in Dima Hasao, a traffic advisory has been issued in anticipation of heavy rainfall starting early on May 5. The Dima Hasao police have announced restrictions on heavy commercial vehicle movement along this route from 8 p.m. on May 4 until further notice. Commercial vehicles traveling between Barak Valley and destinations beyond via Dima Hasao are advised to reroute their journeys through Meghalaya until updates are provided.
