Tragic Wall Collapse Claims Life of 8-Year-Old Boy in Assam

An eight-year-old boy, Sandeep Dhanwar, died after a wall collapsed while he was playing at his newly constructed home in Selaikhati Gram Panchayat, near the Assam-Arunachal border. The incident occurred in the absence of his parents. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Sandeep was declared dead.

The house was built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and was 90% complete. The collapse has raised concerns about construction quality, prompting residents to demand an investigation to ensure accountability and prevent future incidents.
