Train Schedule Disruptions Due to Infrastructure Upgrades in Northeast India

Ongoing track repair and capacity augmentation works in the Lumding and Rangiya divisions of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) have necessitated the cancellation, rescheduling, partial cancellation, and regulation of several trains. Notable cancellations include the Guwahati-Silchar Express, Alipurduar-Lumding Intercity Express, and Alipurduar-Guwahati Shifung Express. Various trains have been rescheduled, such as the Agartala-Rani Kamalapati Special and Silchar-Rangiya Express, while others face partial cancellations or route alterations. The Kamrup Express and Northeast Express will be regulated en route to accommodate the ongoing infrastructure works.
