Transformer Blast Causes Massive Fire at Biswanath Chariali Electrical Office

A massive fire broke out at the Biswanath Chariali Electrical Sub-Divisional Engineer’s office on Saturday night due to a transformer blast. The explosion led to significant damage to the control room and destruction of important documents. Fire brigades quickly responded to the scene. Power in the locality has been out since the incident. Section 144 was imposed by the District Magistrate on July 27 until further notice.
