Transport Dept Urges Vehicle Owners to Update Documents by June 30

Assam’s Transport Department has launched a public service drive, led by official Gautam Das, to help vehicle owners update licenses, pay taxes, and fix documentation issues. Officials are visiting homes and offices to assist. Many luxury vehicle owners and companies remain non-compliant. The department warns that undocumented vehicles risk legal issues and denied accident compensation. Owners are urged to update documents online by June 30, 2025.
