Two Abducted Sisters Rescued in Gauripur, Four Arrested
Gauripur Police rescued two sisters, aged 19 and 15, abducted in early July from Madhushaulmari Part-I. Acting on a tip-off, police raided a house in Alokjhar, Bilasipara, arresting four suspects. The case had sparked public protests, including a highway blockade. Investigation is ongoing.
