Two Minors Drown While Playing in Golaghat

Two children, aged 6 and 5, died after accidentally drowning in a pond in Merapani, Golaghat district. The victims, Bidwanjyoti Chutia and Nomom Gogoi, were playing near their home when they reportedly slipped into the water.

Family members later found them and rushed them to Merapani Community Health Centre, where doctors declared them dead.
