Jorhat Road Accident Claims One Life, Four Injured

A fatal road accident in Jorhat killed one person and injured four others on Friday. The incident occurred near the North East Science and Technology Institute when a speeding Bolero pick-up hit a Maxxim vehicle, causing it to crash.

The driver, Dhan Das of Panichuk, died on the spot, while four passengers were admitted to Jorhat Medical College. The Bolero driver fled, and police have started an investigation.
