Two Minors Found Dead in Assam’s Cachar District, Investigation Underway

A disturbing incident unfolded in Assam’s Cachar district as the bodies of two minors, including a girl, were discovered hanging from a tree in the Choto Doodhpatil part-II area. Authorities, upon receiving the information, promptly responded, recovering the bodies and initiating a post-mortem examination at Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH). While initial assessments point towards a possible case of suicide, Additional SP (Crime) Sheetal Kumar emphasized the ongoing comprehensive investigation. Notably, there have been no complaints lodged by the families of the deceased minors. Locals mention that the minors were frequently seen together and hailed from the same community, adding complexity to the case.
