The scheduled visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Assam has been postponed, as confirmed by Assam’s Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Ashok Singhal. Shah was supposed to address a public rally on April 8 in Gohpur town, Biswanath district. However, no specific reasons were provided for the postponement. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend a public rally in Assam’s Nagaon district on April 17, as per reports.
