ULFA (I) Endorses Film ‘Protishruti’ to Combat Drug Abuse in Assam

The United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent) [ULFA (I)] is endorsing the upcoming film “Protishruti” as a tool to address the rising concerns of drug abuse and trafficking in Assam. Produced by Ratul Baruah and directed by Kishore Tahbildar, the movie features Prastuti Parasor and Plabita Borthakur and sheds light on the issue of narcotics consumption and trafficking. ULFA (I) emphasizes the importance of combating the drug menace, particularly among youth, and urges for widespread screening of “Protishruti” across all cinema halls in Assam for three to four weeks.
