US Election Counting Begins: Trump Leads, Key Battleground States Hold the Key

Counting for the US elections has started, with projections showing Donald Trump winning 23 states and Kamala Harris 11. Trump leads in the electoral college with 246 votes, while Harris has 210, with 270 votes needed to win. These results exclude seven crucial battleground states: Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. Trump has won two of these states and leads in four more. Exit polls show concerns over democracy, the economy, and abortion as key voter issues. A CNN poll revealed widespread dissatisfaction with the state of the nation.
