Veer Lachit Sena Faces Backlash After Restraining SSC-GD Exam Candidates in Guwahati

Controversy surrounds Veer Lachit Sena as its members came under scrutiny for restraining out-of-state candidates during the SSC-GD examination at a Guwahati center. The incident occurred at E Com Tower in Borjhar, leading to chaos and the detention of organization members by DCP West and Azara Police Station officials. While the exam proceeded peacefully, five candidates were prevented from taking the test, prompting one, Dharmendra Chauhan, to file an FIR. Six members of Veer Lachit Sena were subsequently arrested, identified as Bikash Baruah, Tapan Kumar Sharma, Jayanta Sharma, Rajesh Deori, Bikrant Kalita, and Karun Swargiary.
