Vote Counting Begins for Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana Assembly Elections

Vote counting for the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana started at 8 am on Tuesday. Jammu and Kashmir conducted its elections in three phases from September 18 to October 1, while Haryana’s polling ended on October 5. Early trends show Congress leading in Haryana with 30 seats, while BJP follows with 20. In Jammu and Kashmir, BJP leads with 18 seats, and the National Conference alliance is at 13. The BJP aims for a third consecutive term in Haryana, while Jammu and Kashmir holds its first assembly election in a decade.
