Water Pipeline Bursts Again in Mathgharia, Disrupts Traffic

GUWAHATI: A water pipeline reportedly burst at Mathgharia No. 2 on Tuesday, causing water to spill onto the road near the Durga Mandir and creating inconvenience for residents and commuters. The incident occurred while cable-laying work was reportedly underway in the vicinity.

Residents said the location has witnessed a similar pipeline burst in the past, raising concerns over repeated damage to the area’s water supply infrastructure.
