NFR Cancels, Reschedules Trains Amid Track Restoration Near New Harangajao

GUWAHATI: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has cancelled and rescheduled several train services due to ongoing restoration work near New Harangajao station, where railway tracks on Lines 1 and 2 have reportedly settled. Train movement along the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section is continuing through Line 3 with additional safety measures.

Trains 15617 (Guwahati–Dullabcherra) and 15615 (Guwahati–Silchar) scheduled for August 19, along with their return services 15618 and 15616 on August 20, have been cancelled. Several other services, including trains 15650, 15649, 15609, 15610, 15611, 15612 and 15646, have been rescheduled, while Train 17031 (Charlapalli–Agartala) Express has been regulated en route.
