Water Supply Disruption in Guwahati on Tuesday and Wednesday

The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) announced that water supply will be disrupted in several parts of the city on Tuesday and Wednesday due to a transformer failure at the Satpukhuri Water Supply Scheme. Areas expected to be affected include Uzanbazar, Guwahati Club, Silpukhuri, Chandmari, and surrounding neighborhoods.

GMC acknowledged that while water projects cover large portions of the city, technical issues and unscheduled interruptions continue to affect reliable access to clean water for residents.
