Witness Examination Begins in Zubeen Garg Death Case

The trial in the alleged murder and criminal conspiracy case related to the death of Assamese music icon Zubeen Garg entered a crucial phase on Sunday as witness examination began in a Special Fast-Track Court in Assam. Four witnesses have been summoned initially, with hearings scheduled to continue until June 20.

Several individuals, including festival organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta and former manager Siddharth Sharma, are facing trial in connection with the case. The witness testimonies are expected to play a key role in determining the course of the high-profile proceedings.
