Gaurav Gogoi Alleges BJP Government Failed to Meet Public Expectations

APCC president and MP Gaurav Gogoi on Sunday alleged that the BJP-led Assam government has failed to meet public expectations despite receiving a massive mandate. He accused the government of failing to control rising prices of essential commodities and fuel, while focusing more on power-sharing and cabinet positions than public welfare.
Gogoi said the Congress has launched an outreach programme to assess its electoral performance and reconnect with people. He also chaired a meeting at Rajiv Bhawan to review preparations for upcoming by-elections and discuss strategies to strengthen the party’s presence across the state.
