A woman in Guwahati has sought police protection after her partner, already married to two others, allegedly attempted to murder her near the Dispur Police Station. The man had blackmailed her with a private video to maintain their relationship. He had previously attacked her with a cleaver, and this time, he came armed with a knife. Police have detained him.
