Massive Fire Breaks Out in Gumi Area, Kamrup District, Damaging Shops and Property

A massive fire erupted on Sunday night in the Gumi area under Chhaygaon LAC, Kamrup district, destroying eight shops and an office of Gumi Worker Sangha. Fire tenders successfully contained the blaze, preventing further damage. While the fire caused significant property loss worth lakhs of rupees, fortunately, no injuries were reported.
