Woman Severely Injured in Freak Accident Involving Dumper Truck in Assam’s Jorhat District

In a shocking incident on Tuesday morning, a freak accident in Assam’s Jorhat district led to a woman’s right ankle being severed by a dumper truck. The accident occurred in the Borholla area when a stone-laden dumper truck, with the registration number AS09 C 6720, ran over two women riding a scooter on its way to Titabor.

The accident resulted in the severe injury of Uma Mising, whose right ankle was severed, while the other woman, Rajanti Polong, sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital for urgent medical care. Local police quickly arrived at the scene and seized the dumper truck involved in the accident.
