Youth Attacked in Nagaon Over Cow Theft Suspicion
A 28-year-old, Mehedi Alam, was assaulted by locals in Rupahihat, Nagaon, on suspicion of cow theft. The mob attacked him with sticks and rods. Police rescued the severely injured youth, who is now in the ICU at Nagaon Medical College. A probe is ongoing.
