Som Das of Patharquary, Narengi, jumped into the Brahmaputra near Panikhaiti’s Ganesh Mandir area on Monday. Despite efforts by police and SDRF, he remains untraced. The reason behind the act is still unknown. Search operations were halted at dusk.
