Youth Killed by Miscreants in Jorhat; Investigation Underway

Vinod Nayak, 30, was attacked by a group of men in front of his parents in Assam’s Jorhat district on June 30. He succumbed to his injuries on July 17. The family lodged an FIR against seven suspects. Police have initiated an investigation and exhumed Nayak’s body for a post-mortem in the presence of a magistrate.
