Youth Missing After Fishing Trip on Siang River in Assam

In Jonai, Assam, a youth named Bhuban Das (30) has gone missing while fishing in the Siang River. A resident of Berachapori in Berabengali village, Das was fishing with another villager on Monday evening when the incident occurred. It is suspected that Das slipped and fell off the boat while returning from fishing early the next morning. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and Jonai Police are conducting extensive search operations to locate the missing youth.
