STF Raid in Bharalumukh Leads to Arrest of Drug Peddler

A meticulously planned raid by Assam’s Special Task Force (STF) in Bharalumukh resulted in the arrest of Afsana Begum (29), a suspected drug peddler. The raid uncovered incriminating evidence, including 46.5 grams of suspected heroin stored in a green soapbox and a large pink plastic container. Authorities also seized Rs. 10,410 in cash, two mobile phones, and 200 empty plastic containers likely intended for drug packaging. Official identification documents belonging to Begum, such as her Aadhar Card and PAN Card, were found, aiding ongoing investigations.
