₹100 Crore Boost for Guwahati Science City

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on August 10 inspected the ongoing development of Guwahati Science City in Sonapur and announced an additional ₹100 crore for new facilities.

The planned additions include a digital panorama, convention centre, musical fountain and expanded parking, with the project targeted for completion by March 2027. The government is also considering a dedicated ASTC bus service between Guwahati and Science City.
