10 Myanmar immigrants arrested in Manipur

10 Myanmar nationals, including five women, were arrested from Churachandpur district on Sunday afternoon for crossing into the Indian territory illegally without any valid papers.

Among those arrested, nine are from Myanmar’s Monywa area and one from Tahan , sources said. During preliminary investigation, they admitted that they had come to Churachandpur district without any valid papers on different dates and years from Myanmar and were taking shelter at Vaal Veng village, sources added.
