11 districts in Assam are affected as the flood situation worsens due to the constant rain

Rising floodwaters in several Assam districts have had an impact on more than 34,000 people. The majority of rivers are still flowing below the danger threshold, though. Low-lying areas in 11 districts are flooded as a result of the constant rain. The flood has damaged crops covering more than 200 hectares.
